VESTA S C - Vesta standing in a tetrastyle temple, with or without a statue above; on coin of Vespasian and Titus (bronze AE 2).

VESTA S C - Four or six vestals [See Vestales Virgines] standing accompanied by two children, sacrificing at an adorned and lighted altar outside a tetrastyle round temple, in the centre of which a statue of Vesta is seated; above a statue. Obv: IVLIA PIA FELIX AVG, bust of Julia Domna to right or to left; gold, bronze AE 1 and AE 2.

brass medallions of Faustina Senior and of Lucilla represent six Vestals sacrificing at an altar outside a tetrastyle round temple, within which a statue of Vesta. Other examples of Vesta or her temple doubtless occur.
